Referral Letter
To schedule an appointment for your child at De Kinderartsenpraktijk, you will always need a referral letter from your family doctor, pediatrician, nurse practitioner, or other medical specialist.
If you don’t have a referral letter but would still like to make an appointment at De Kinderartsenpraktijk, please contact your family doctor or the pediatrician at the child health clinic.
Healthcare is always fully covered—no copay , no deductible, and no additional costs.
There is no deductible for children under 18 years of age.
Care at De Kinderartsenpraktijk is always reimbursed by your health insurance, even if there is no contract with your health insurer.
If you have a referral letter from your GP, youth doctor, or another medical specialist, you do not have to pay anything extra yourself. You also do not have to pay anything in advance. In the Netherlands, fixed prices have been agreed upon for pediatric care. These prices are the same for everyone. At De Kinderartsenpraktijk, we therefore charge the same prices as in a hospital. However, payment works just a little differently with us than in a hospital.
